Why I love CSUF? I love that from the moment I stepped foot on this campus I felt like I belonged and had a purpose here. Even though this is a large campus, I love that there are so many ways to get involved, gain leadership skills and meet your best friends.
Why is Freshman Programs important to you? It has personally led to my development as a student. Being a mentor has encouraged me to do better in my personal life and my academics, so that I can be a better role model. It has also opened up my eyes to the field of Student Affairs.
Fun/Interesting Fact: I traveled in Europe for 5 weeks this past summer and visited 12 different countries, including London England when the Olympics were going on.
Advice you would like to give to freshmen: Get involved, be yourself and never feel like you are alone is this transition, so always make sure to ask questions and be informed!
