Residence Halls

The residence halls are designed to focus on the needs of incoming freshmen and housing 1,062 students in double and triple occupancy bedrooms clustered around community bathrooms. Opened in 2011, the residence halls were awarded the first Platinum LEED certification in California by the U.S. Green building council.

Apartments

Our continuing and transfer students are housed in our apartment facilities which are home to more than 800 residents. Double occupancy accommodations are in three bedroom apartments housing six students. Single occupancy accommodations are in four bedroom apartments housing four residents. All apartments are fully furnished with two bathrooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen.

Meeting Rooms

Six meeting rooms are located on the first floors of the residence halls. Various academic classes, programs, and meetings are held in the rooms throughout the year. All of the meeting rooms feature integrated audio/video equipment, and have furniture that can be configured to various needs.

Computer Lab - Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is the Housing computer lab open only to residents. The ARC is located near the Cypress Basketball and Volleyball courts. The ARC is closed during all campus closures including breaks and holidays.

Fitness Room

The Student Housing fitness room is located on the first floor of the Cypress building. It is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. and on weekends from noon – 10 p.m. The room is available for all Student Housing residents and is equipped with 2 elliptical machines, 4 stationary bikes, and weight training equipment.

Laundry Rooms

Laundry rooms are available 24 hours each day in the Cypress and Juniper buildings. Washers and dryers operate on a debit or credit card payment system.

Multipurpose Room

A large multipurpose room is available in the Cypress building for apartment residents. The MPR room features a large screen TV, piano, pool tables, and air hockey. The room has various types of seating to accommodate individual studying, group study, or meetings.
