Teaching Support

Overview

Supporting faculty in their career-long growth as teachers is a major part of the Faculty Development Center’s mission. The FDC offers numerous resources to support faculty teaching and learning practices. These include:

  • campus-wide workshops, faculty learning communities, and online resources supporting teaching, learning, pedagogy, and engagement
  • individual consultations and assistance on best practices for synchronous, asynchronous, fully online, hybrid, and in-person teaching
  • workshops conducted for your department
  • grants to help you pursue excellence in teaching

As part of many of these offerings, faculty earn certificates of acheivement.
