The Division of IT has advanced our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts by:

• Launched a new IT Book Club – Caste: The Origins of our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson
  • Oprah's Book Club recommendation
  • Meetings to be held weekly to review and discuss chapters

• Continue to promote IT Connects to bring the Division of IT together and embrace cultural diversity
• DEI workshop with Dr. Sumun Pendakur
• Measure staff engagement at IT-wide meetings and workshops with assessment survey
• Began Inside IT Social Media Campaign to introduce IT members to followers
