Campus Catalog Widget

Content Widgets

Below are some examples of how you can integrate the Catalog within your content.  Catalog data is pulled from the most current version and will automatically update when a new version is released.  See our catalog widget guide for more details.

Content Examples

Put the data from the Catalog right into your pages instead of just linking to it.  Content widgets have a close / expand button per item.  Due to the nature of the data being pulled into the page it will default to the open position but does allow users to close the data.

Single Course Content

Very simple Art 101 content pulled into the page.  This content is generated from the current catalog and comes directly into the content of your page without need to link out to the Catalog.

filter code:
type: content; data: courses; course-prefix: Art; course-code: 101

Multiple Course Content

You can bring in the course data in any order for any course.  Course information is controlled by the order in which is is entered.

filter code

type: content; data: courses; course-prefix: Art; course-code: 101, 104, 205A

Program Content Example

Programs are large data elements which describe concentrations within a college.  When using a program's information it is important to get the full name including any abbreviations at the end of the title.  Copy exactly what you see in the Campus Catalog for the title of the program otherwise it may have difficulty pulling back the information.

Best practice is to use only one program content widget per page.  If you want to highlight multiple programs, try using a list widget and link back to the Catalog.
