Pollak Library Floor Maps

Maps for each wing and floor of the Pollak library, referencing service points and spaces, collections, printers, elevators, stairwells, and public restrooms. You can view an alphabetical directory here.

LIBRARY NORTH WING

Floors located in the north wing of the Pollak Library.

Basement Library North

 

 Basement Library North contains Government Documents, Microfilm, and Periodicals. Emergency stairs are located on the East side of the floor. Public elevators, restrooms, and stairs are located in the Southwest corner. 

 First Floor Library North

 

 First Floor North contains the Information Learning Commons; including Supplemental Instruction, Writing Center, and University Learning Center. Located on First Floor North is the Research Center, Student Genius Corner, and TitanCard Deposit; Smart Group Study Rooms (111-113); Disability Support Services Computer Lab and Academic Senate Offices PLN 120. There are four black and white printers, one color printer, and one WiFi printer. Emergency stairs  are located on the West side and Southeast corner of the floor. Public elevators, restrooms, and stairs are located in the Southwest corner. Conference Room PLN 130 and other staff offices are located on the East side of the floor.

Second Floor Library North

 

Second Floor North includes the Advanced Technology Lab; Digital Print Services; Smart Group Study Rooms (211-214); Innovation/Makerspace Center which is currently inaccessible due to construction. There are two black and white printers and two color copy machines/scanners. Emergency stairs are located on the East and West sides of the floor. Public elevators, restrooms, and stairs are located in the Southwest corner. 

Third Floor Library North

 

(Text Equivalent) Third Floor North contains the designated Quiet Study Area; Group Study Rooms and Smart Group Study Rooms (311-312); Government Documents, Maps, and Microforms; Books and Oversized Documents. There is one WiFi printer. Emergency stairs are located on the East, West, and South sides of the floor. Public elevators, restrooms, and stairs, as well as Instruction Room PLN 303 are located in the Southwest corner. Part-Time Faculty Office PLN 320, and other staff offices are located in the southeast corner.

Fourth Floor Library North

 

(Text Equivalent) Fourth Floor North contains the Donoghue Children's Literature Center, Emeriti Center, and SchoolsFirst Center for Creativity & Critical Thinking; Group Study Rooms (412-414, 421-425, 427-432, and 434-440); Audiovisual, Curriculum, Juvenile, Text, and Learners Resource Display Center. There are two black and white printers, one color printer, and one WiFi printer. Emergency stairs are located on the East and West sides; and Southeast corner. Public elevators, restrooms, and stairs are located in the Southwest corner. Conference Room PLN 420 is located on the North side and other staff offices are located in the Southeast corner.

 

LIBRARY SOUTH WING

Floors located in the south wing of the Pollak Library.

Basement Library South

 

(Text Equivalent) Basement South contains the College of Communications and TitanCommunications. Emergency stairs are located on the East, West, and South sides of the floor. Public restrooms are located near the South side of the floor. Outdoor stair and elevator access to Basement South are on the Southeast  side.

First Floor Library South

 

(Text Equivalent) First Floor South contains the Information Desk on the Promenade; Salz-Pollak Atrium Gallery and Starbucks are located in the Atrium/Lobby; Diversity Initiatives and Resources Center including the African American Resource Center, Asian Pacific American Resource Center, Brave Space, Chicana/Chicano Resource Center, LGBT Queer Resource Center, and Titan Dreamers Resource Center; Center for Scholars and University Honors centers; Circulation Desk and Titan Card Desk. The entrance to the Patrons/Emeriti Book Sale Center is located on the Southeast corner using the outside entrance. There is one color copier, one black and white printer, and one WiFi printer. Emergency stairs are located on the Northeast and East sides of the floor. Public elevators are located on the West side. Gender Neutral restrooms and other staff offices are on the East side.

Second Floor Library South

 

(Text Equivalent) Second Floor South contains the Academic Technology Center, Faculty Affairs & Records, Faculty Support Services, and Student Opinion Questionnaire offices; East and West Terraces are open study spaces; Faculty Commons and Library Administration. Conference Rooms PLS 240 and 256 are on the East and West sections of the floor. Conference Room PLS 299 is on the West side of the floor. Emergency stairs are located on the East and West sides, as well as near the public elevators and restrooms in the Faculty Commons area.

Third Floor Library South

 

(Text Equivalent) Third Floor South contains the Center for Oral & Public History, University Archives & Special Collections, and Graduate Student Success Center. Emergency stairs are located on the North, East, and West sides of the floor. Public elevators, restrooms, and stairs are located in the center of the floor. Conference Room PLS 360 is located on the South side of the floor.
