Description:
This award is given to a graduating student whose overall academic performance, including but not limited to courses in the major, distinguishes him or her as Intellectually outstanding.

OUTSTANDING STUDENT LEADERSHIP & ACTIVITIES AWARD

Description:
This award is given to a graduating student in Criminal Justice who excels in service to the field of Criminal Justice, including success in community work, internships or service to the CSUF Criminal Justice Department or University.

THE EDWARD SULLIVAN AWARD
Eligibility Pool:
Currently enrolled non-traditional students who are in good academic standing and will return to CSUF for at least one additional semester. Typical characteristics of a non-traditional student can be one or all of the following; they are a parent, twenty-five years of age or older, a veteran, and have delayed enrollment or taken a break from higher education.
Description:
The department scholarship was established by Dr. Ed Sullivan in order to assist adult re-entry students majoring in Criminal Justice. The scholarship seeks to reward students returning to complete their education.
Award:
$500 award, certificate of recognition, name recognition on the awards website and an announcement at graduation.

THE WILLIAM HOBBS AWARD

THE W. GARRET CAPUNE, FOUNDING CHAIR, AWARD

Named after a Criminal Justice professor, the recipient of this award is selected for both a distinguished academic record and for an involved service record that included community work, internships or service to the CSUF Criminal Justice Department.

BOOKSTORE SCHOLARSHIP - STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility Pool:
Undergraduate students in Criminal Justice who have applied for a Criminal Justice study abroad course.
Description:
A Criminal Justice student in financial need with at least a 2.75 GPA who has applied to take a CJ study abroad course.
Award:
One $500 award per year, name recognition on the awards website and an announcement at graduation.
