Meet our President
Sebastian Ruiz is a Senior, majoring in Political Science. He is excited to explore the different parts of law with all of you. He is currently competing for CSUF’s Moot Court team and is serving as the team’s 4th Amendment Case Captain. Sebastian just finished up an internship with Lou Correa’s Congressional Office and also previously interned at Targeted Victory, a D.C. based political consultancy firm. Sebastian hopes to study Constitutional Law and clerk in one of the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals out of Law School.
Meet our Vice President
Grecia Montes De Oca is a Senior and a First Generation student majoring in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. Grecia is an Orientation Leader here at CSUF and has just finished interning for the Legislative District Office of Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva in the city of Fullerton. She is planning on going to law school to continue her career and become an attorney to analyze the problems of crime and juvenile delinquency based on their causes and social effects.
Meet our Treasurer
Brandon Gutierrez is a second year majoring in Criminal Justice. He is involved in numerous organizations like the Honors society, Moot Program, and Vice President of the Criminal Justice Students Association. Brandon also looks to improve communities by tutoring underprivileged children from Chicago Heights. He aspires to become either a corporate lawyer or to practice in the boundaries of criminal law. Brandon’s favorite moments from previous Pre-Law Society years is attending different socials like bonfires and workshops that help with taking the LSAT. Brandon is very excited to serve on the executive board and help maintain and improve a healthy environment for PLS members, while also hoping to improve their knowledge of Law School and other law related activities.
Meet our Secretary
Samir
Samir Yousef is a junior majoring in Political science with a minor in Public Policy. He has been a member of pre-law society since his sophomore year due to his interest in law and his passion to learn more about the legal field. He spent this last summer interning at the Orange County DA’s office for the Human Exploitation Unit. His work at the OCDA has motivated him to work hard in order to become a prosecutor. He is very excited to be on board for this upcoming school year and wants to help students find ways to be successful and make law school more attainable. He also wants to help them network with others who are also interested in the legal field.
Meet our Event Coordinator
Sahar
Sahar Amiri is a History major with a Political Science minor. She is a third year student who is planning on pursuing a career in law. Sahar is very excited to serve on the executive board this year to be the Events Coordinator. In her free time she loves to crochet, cook, and read. She is also the president of CSUF's Afghan Student Association. Sahar plans to go into foreign relations or immigration law in the future.
Social Media & Recruitment Sabrina
Sabrina Khan is a Senior and First Generation student majoring in Criminal Justice. She is a transfer student from Irvine Valley College and is currently working as a student research assistant for the DC scholars at CSUF. She also just finished a highly intensive and competitive program for Pre-Law students of diverse backgrounds at UC Irvine this summer. Sabrina is planning to attend law school and go into entertainment or business law. She loves marvel, traveling, and spending time with her friends.
