Page Banners

Add some graphical elements to pages between the navigation and your main content.  These images can be used on any page and they are controlled by your site setup information.  Choose a specific image or randomize them for a more dynamic feel.

Page banner set up

When it comes to site branding page banners are a great way to make a dramatic impact on your site.  They appear between the header and your main content on each page.  It is an optional element that you can use on one or more pages in your site; however, all images are centrally managed from the page banner set up file.

Image Consideration

Page banners use image objects and are not background elements so there is no positioning or repeating options.

  • Best Image Size: 2400px wide X 650 px tall (under 300kb)
  • Best practice is to have each image the same size.
  • Web addresses are allowed for image sources but web images are not 100% guarenteed
  • Images scale to fit up to 100% of the image, small images will not stretch across montiors

Manage images

Each site has up to 12 images they can provide for web pages with each page independantly managing the display properties.

The file located from your website root /_setup/_page-banners.pcf.

Open the editor and add an image from your site just as you would with adding an image into regular content.  Only the image is used, text or other elements will be ignored.

Save the image and republish the file when you're done.
