Petition Request Guidelines

SPECIAL NOTE: The use of these petitions is for the CAS department only. They will not work for any other department on campus. You will have to refer to the respective department for their policies and procedures.

The department is only accepting petitions online right now. The turnaround time for decisions is about two weeks.
Please remember for the petition to be complete, you need the correct petition form and a current copy of your TDA.

THERE ARE THREE OPTIONS OF PETITIONS FOR CONSIDERATION OF CAS MAJOR
AND MINOR DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

Each petition requires additional documentation:

  1. Completed Petition Form *One request per petition submission*
  2. CURRENT (no older than 1 week) Titan Degree Audit (TDA)
    • Do NOT run a 'WHAT-IF' TDA
  3. Any other relevant documentation (syllabus/financial statement/employment verification…)

There is one way to submit complete petitions:

  • Multiple Word Documents into One Word Document File

  • Multiple Documents (any format) into One PDF File

(the video references Adobe Acrobat Pro XI but the current version is now Adobe Acrobat Pro DC)
