Assessment Mapping

With the performance outcomes (POs) developed, the next step is to figure out how to assess each of the POs. A useful approach is to build an “Assessment Map” that specifies how each PO will be measured. This mapping exercise helps ensure the POs are assessed in a systematic and thoughtful manner, employing multiple methods and measures.
