CSUF Facts 2024: At A Glance 

New data are available for the campus’s fall 2024 enrolled student population. This month, we invite you to discover at a glance how some of our enrolled student populations have changed over time, from fall 2019 to fall 2024.

  • Upper-division students decreased by seven percentage points from 70% in 2019 to 63% in 2024.
  • Students who are first in their families to attend college increased by two percentage points from 30% in 2019 to 32% in 2024.
  • Overall underrepresented* (in terms of race/ethnicity) students increased by 11 percentage points from 46% in 2019 to 57% in 2024.
  • The gender composition has remained stable, with female students making up 58% in 2019 and 57% in 2024.

 

*Underrepresented student is a student who has identified their race/ethnicity as American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.
