The SchoolsFirst Center for Creativity and Critical Thinking in Schools was officially named in April 2009 with a generous gift of $250,000 from SchoolsFirst Credit Union. This donation provides general funding for all Center operations and activities.

Community Partners
The Center collaborates with a variety of community partners on a a wide array of projects. Professional development workshops and training for teachers is an area of expertise for the Center for Creativity and Critical Thinking.

Faculty Fellowships
The Center sponsors projects related to its mission of enhancing P-12 students’ 21st century learning.
The Faculty Fellowships program intends to support selected projects (such as research and workshops) taught by interdisciplinary faculty.
