Applying for Graduation (Grad Check)

Each prospective graduate must file for graduation. A student is eligible to apply for graduation after accumulating 85 units. You may apply for graduation (grad check) online via your Titan Online Student Center. You should apply for graduation two semesters in advance of your anticipated graduation date. You may become eligible to apply for graduation and be more than two semesters away from your anticipated graduation date. In this case, it is okay to apply at a later date, you will still receive a reminder and due date in your student center. You are not required to apply until you are two semesters away from your anticipated graduation date. Commencement is the ceremony that students are eligible to attend to once you have completed the grad check process. If you graduate in January 2019 or become a candidate for May or August 2019, you will be eligible to participate in the May 2019 ceremonies. If you graduate in January 2020, May 2020, or August 2020, you will be eligible to participate in the May 2020 commencement ceremonies.
