CSUF 2025 College of Education Commencement Ceremony Information

We are excited to announce 2025 Commencement information! The following is information for College of Education students completing their Master's, Ed. D.,  Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Special Education, or Preliminary Administrative Services credential in the Fall 2024, Spring 2025 or Summer 2025.

REGALIA REQUIREMENTS

  • Caps and gowns are mandatory for the College of Education Commencement & Credential Ceremony and will be available for purchase at the Titan Shops.
  • Master's and Ed.D. candidates will be hooded during the ceremony.
  • Comfortable shoes are highly recommended as there will be considerable walking and the graduate and guest chairs will be on a lawn.

Regalia Attire

Credential: CSUF's bachelor's gown & mortarboard.  For details on Credential regalia click here.
Masters: CSUF's Master's gown, hood, tassel and mortarboard. For details on Masters regalia click here.
Ed.D.: CSUF's Doctoral gown (with velvet) and tam.  For details on Ed.D. regalia options click here.

COMMENCEMENT REGISTRATION (REQUIRED)

IMPORTANT: You MUST register for the commencement ceremony to participate.  This is seperate from applying for a Grad Check. (Credential only candidates do not apply for a Grad Check.)

Commencement ceremony registration is April 1-23, 2025.  Instructions on how to register will be sent to you on April 1st. Watch your CSUF email account for details which will come from commencement@fullerton.edu.

*NOTE: Before registering to participate, graduate and Ed.D. students must have completed and paid for their grad check and credential candidates must have paid the Credential Ceremony Fee. For information on these fees, click here.   

GUEST TICKETS 

Each student will be allocated 8 guest tickets. More information on accessing your guest tickets will be available during registration. 

If you need more than 8 tickets, we encourage you to reach out to your classmates as tickets are transferable. Not all students use all 8 tickets.  Additional tickets will not be abvailable from the college or university.

SECURITY GUIDELINES

  • All students and guests will enter through a security check point and metal detector. 
  • Students participating in the ceremony will not have a place to leave personal items and should leave items with their guests.  
  • Only clear bags will be allowed in the venue.

Individual departments will communicate with students if they plan to host a reception.
