Donoghue Children's Literature Center

 Donoghue

The Donoghue Children's Literature Center was founded in 2001 by CSUF Elementary Education Professor Mildred Donoghue. The Center focuses on collecting award-winning children's literature written for the K-6 audience and maintains a collection of approximately 1000 titles. Older titles are moved to the Pollak Library's juvenile collection.

The Center's award-winning interior was designed by Laura Ridley of the American Society of Interior Designers, San Diego Chapter and is intended to evoke the feeling of a children's library.

The Center's board meets throughout the year to select books based on reviews in Horn Book Magazine and similar sources.

The books in the Donoghue Children's Literature Center can be checked out.  You can use the Meescan app or go to Circulation located on the 1st floor South.
