Institutional Accreditation

California State University, Fullerton (CSUFOpens in new window ) is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASCOpens in new window ).

SON Program Accreditation

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master's degree program in nursing at California State University, Fullerton are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). 

SON Program Approval

Prelicensure pathway programs and Women's Health NP/Nurse Midwifery concentrations are approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRNOpens in new window ) as required for certification and licensure.

Individual Program Approvals

Each educational program within the School of Nursing at CSUF is approved by additional accrediting bodies as appropriate.

Southern California CSU DNP Consortium Program

The Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Southern California CSU DNP Consortium (Consortium of CSU, Fullerton; CSU, Long Beach; and CSU, Los Angeles) is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.orgOpens in new window ).

Additionally, each member school of the Southern California CSU DNP Consortium is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner    

The MSN Women’s Health Care Concentration is approved by the National Certification Corporation (NCCOpens in new window ). Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the Women's Health NP certifying exam through the NCC. Graduates are also eligible for certification as a Nurse Practitioner through the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Women's Health Care Nurse-Midwife

To date, 100% of our nurse-midwifery  graduates have passed the AMCB examination.

Graduates are also eligible for certification as a Nurse-Midwife/NP through the California Board of Registered Nursing.

School Nurse Credential

The School Nurse Credential is approved by the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTCOpens in new window ).

Nurse Anesthesia Concentration

The Nurse Anesthesia Concentration is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COAOpens in new window ).
