About Project upGRADS

Project upGRADS is funded through the U.S. Dept. of Education’s Title V, pt. B, PPOHA program. Project upGRADS is the third multi-year grant from that source, after the successes of EPOCHS opens in a new window(2010-2016) and SOAR opens in a new window(2014-2019) programs. Project upGRADS, or Utilizing & Promoting Graduate Resources & Access for Disadvantaged Students, is extended to September 30, 2025. Project upGRADS seeks to improve enrollment, persistence, and graduation for historically under-served graduate students.

All graduate students, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or any other protected status, who are interested in Project upGRADS are welcome.
