Dropbox for Business is now available to faculty and staff members, this service is known as CSU Fullerton Dropbox for Business. For those not familiar with Dropbox, it is a cloud-based-storage with file synchronization that allows the user to access documents anywhere from any computer or device. CSU Fullerton Dropbox for Business offers unlimited storage and convenient access to your business and your personal Dropbox account from a single login. If you need to share videos, Dropbox is a fabulous tool because you can share your files with subscribers and nonsubscribers. To learn more about Dropbox and get help setting up an account go to http://www.fullerton.edu/it/dropbox/.

You can share any videos saved in your CSU Fullerton Dropbox for Business account in two ways. Right click the file in your Dropbox folder on your desktop and select Share Dropbox Link, or log into Dropbox.com, select your file, and click the Share button. Both ways will send an email with an invitation that includes a link to the movie. The recipients will be able to click on the link and preview the video.
When you share a link to a video, you need to have this in mind:

• Recipients will be able to stream up to 15 minutes on the preview page of the Dropbox website.
• Movies longer than fifteen minutes need to be downloaded to a computer, or played entirely on a mobile device using the Dropbox mobile app.
• Dropbox iOS and Android apps are able to play almost any kind of video file.
• Files not natively supported by a device have to be downloaded and played through a third-party app.

We invite you to join CSU Fullerton Dropbox for Business. Once you have created your account you can start storing and sharing your videos.
