 Ramesh Purohit

      I am very happy to welcome you to the latest issue of Titan Tech Talk. It is the beginning of a New Year and a new semester and it gives me the opportunity to wish you all a very happy 2015.
     As new member of IT I just wanted to say hello to the community and introduce myself. I received a Bachelors of Computer Engineering from the University of Pune and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. I have twenty five years in management and technical experience mainly focused on enterprise applications and application security.
     I am very excited to be part of Cal State Fullerton community. Everyday coming to work has been surprising and rewarding. I am surprised to see an institution working so hard to keep diversity and student success at the forefront of its mission. At the same time, it is rewarding to be part of the team wherein the human capital raises to the challenge and tries to stretch the technical boundaries to accomplish that mission.
     There are challenges such as data security and service availability. However, I do believe that irrespective of how challenging it might be, at the end the new technology and innovation will offer great advantage to us all and help us to serve our Students, Faculty and Staff better.
     I am very proud to be a TITAN. I am looking forward to learning from you all and to being a part of the team that will serve the community at large.
