Traditional BSN Admission Timeline

 

OCTOBER 1 - NOVEMBER 30

The University application will be available through Cal State Apply .

 

FEBRUARY AND/OR MARCH

The top candidates will be invited to interview. 

 

APRIL - May 1

Admission decisions are made, and admitted applicants must decide to either accept admission and submit a non-refundable enrollment deposit, or decline admission.

June - July

Admitted applicants who have accepted admission are required to attend the University New Student Orientation. 

SUMMER (of the following year)

A mandatory nursing orientation will take place during the summer before students begin their nursing coursework (Four year plan: one year after university admission. Five year plan: two years after university admission). Students are expected to attend orientation as there is no make up orientation day available. Those not in attendance during orientation must meet with the Pre-Licensure Program Coordinator and Advisor prior to the beginning of the Fall semester of their first nursing major courses.
