We are delighted to welcome you to the Department of Sociology. We believe sociology is all around us and we delight in the prospect of sharing our knowledge and experience with you. We hope that the department will be a vibrant center of your experience while at the university.

Our sociology community includes undergraduate majors (nearly 1,000) and minors earning their Bachelor’s degrees as well as graduate students earning their Master’s degrees.
