Kim Palacios is the undergraduate advisor for our department. She earned her Master of Science in Higher Education from CSUF and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCR. Kim  has worked in  first -year experience programs, admissions, non-profits and TRIO programs. As a  first - generation , Latina college graduate and professional,  Kim  is passionate about helping and supporting students as they navigate higher education. In her free time,  Kim  enjoys going to concerts, playing video games and spending time with her family and friends.

Yelitza Vazquez is the Administrative Support Lead Coordinator for Sociology. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from CSUF and is planning to begin her Master’s in Counseling in Fall 2024. During her time as a Student Services Specialist, Yelitza has always felt strongly about helping students navigate the education system. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and is an avid reader.
