Biosketch:
Alice W. Lee is a cancer epidemiologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Science at California State University, Fullerton. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles as well as her master’s degree in Public Health and doctoral degree in Epidemiology from the University of Southern California. Her research is focused on the etiology and prevention of ovarian cancer, specifically with regard to the effects of hormonal exposures. She has been actively involved in the Ovarian Cancer Association Consortium (OCAC), an international collaboration of over 70 ovarian cancer studies, since 2012 and is a member of several professional research organizations. Dr. Lee’s research interests also extend to cancer health disparities as well as issues related to women’s health, including other female gynecologic conditions and malignancies.
