Info Blocks: Special Page

Website Hours

Hours are a special file that in the _setup folder.  Sites can have multiple hour blocks and can show all or target specific block numbers.  Separate desks, centers, resources can have various times all managed in the same file.

For each block you can also list optional closure dates if you know that there are specific days, or date ranges that you will not be open.  Each closure can also include its own close text message.

In the Page Properties

Data Object:

Events, Hours, RSS or Javascript

Data Source:

hours

Filter / Extra Data:

hours-id: 1,2,3...

The data filter can show any number of hours.  It uses a comma separated list of ID numbers that correspond with the hours block number in the set up file.

Adding this to the page will automatically generate the hours in the section.  You can combine this with CSS classes to create variations for each page.

Show in the header

One of the hour blocks can be included in the header.  Part of the set up for hours allows you to designate if the time block should be used for the header.  The page will pick up the first one marked to use in the header and shows the day's open until time, or if its already closed will let users know that it is no longer open.
